Toontown"I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing --
that it was all
started by a mouse."
- Walt Disney

INTRODUCTION

Behind Fantasyland is Mickey's Toontown, a fun and whimsical place with brightly colored buildings, lots of interesting details...and a few surprises. This little town has it all - City Hall, Post Office, gas station, police station, and fire house...and of course the homes of its two most important citizens - Mickey's House and Minnie's House.

There's lots for younger guests to do here, like riding a kid-sized roller coaster, climbing in Chip 'n' Dale's Treehouse, or playing around on Donald's Boat.

Compare this Toontown with the Walt Disney World version of Mickey's Toontown Fair HERE.

ATTRACTIONS and ENTERTAINMENT

Chip 'n' Dale Treehouse - Climb the staircase and explore Chip and Dale's treetop home.

Disneyland Railroad, Toontown Station - Take the Disneyland Railroad past "it's a small world" and the Autopia to the Tomorrowland station.

Donald's Boat - The good ship Miss Daisy offers ladders and staircases to climb and lots of things to play with.

Gadget's Go Coaster - This kid-sized roller coaster is a short but fun ride.

Goofy's Playhouse - Tour Goofy's house and garden - bouncing on the furniture is allowed!

Jolly Trolley - This trolley ride bounces gently as it goes up and down the streets of Toontown.

Mickey's House - Tour Mickey's house and movie set, and meet Mickey himself!

Minnie's House - Check out Minnie's kitchen and the rest of her house, including the garden.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin - Take a cartoon taxi on a tour of the back alleys of Toontown. Spin as fast or slow as you like - but watch out for weasels!

TOURING TIPS

The standby line for Roger Rabbit can be quite long, and use of Fastpass is highly recommended.

There are a number of interactive and fun things to do in the area just outside Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. Some examples: Pick up the police telephone, depress the plunger outside the Fireworks Factory, push the doorbell for the Toontown Glass Works, open the mailbox at the Post Office, and stand on the manhole cover in front of the Photo Shop.

There's a talking water fountain just outside the bathrooms by Goofy's Gas Station.

Take a look at the various street signs.

The Mickey clock above Toontown City Hall puts on a bit of a show every hour.

Because of fireworks fallout, Toontown closes 15 minutes before the fireworks start and reopens after the show.

PLACES TO EAT

Clarabelle's - Sandwiches, salads, and ice cream novelties.

Daisy's Diner - Pizza, salads, and beverages

Pluto's Dog House - Hot dogs and beverages

Toon Up Treats - Fresh fruit and snacks.

PLACES TO SHOP

Gag Factory/Toontown Five and Dime - Magic tricks and gag items, Disney souvenirs, t-shirts, toys, and plush.

INTERESTING FACTS

Take a look at Toontown's architecture - there are no square corners or straight lines.

Toontown opened January 26, 1993.
