For years, people have used rope dropping as a way to knock out a lot of high-ticket attractions before the rest of the crowds arrive to the parks.
However, recently, rope drop has become one of the BUSIEST times of the day at the Disney World Parks. Rope drop has been rendered useless for a lot of folks as they’re greeted with wait times higher than any other time of the day, or something pretty darn near it. Don’t believe us? We’ll show you!
The following wait times are from December 3rd, 2023. When the parks opened, attractions in each of the parks had either SUPER high waits already or were CLOSED.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom was closed, Frozen Ever After at EPCOT was already at 55 minutes, Avatar: Flight of Passage was at 90 minutes in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Slinky Dog Dash was already at 60 minutes in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
