How Do You Join Disney’s Club 33? How Much Does It Cost?

The Disney parks have some exclusive areas that only a few people have access to, places like the Utilidors underneath the Magic Kingdom, inside the Cinderella Suite in Cinderella Castle, and there are even exclusive lounges hidden all around Disney World, in Disneyland, and other international Disney parks.

What is Club 33?

The idea for Club 33 was originally thought up by Walt Disney himself as a way to entertain his VIP guests. Walt died a few months before the club officially began, but Disneyland still saw the idea through to fruition.

How Much Does Club 33 Membership Cost?

Club 33 is one of the most exclusive experiences available through Disney. The club itself is invite-only and costs a pretty penny in membership fees. The reason it’s so exclusive is because of Walt Disney’s original vision as a place to entertain VIP guests. It is now a spot where many celebrities purchase memberships and have a respite from crowds to still enjoy the parks on vacation without being swarmed by fans.

There’s some exclusive hiding in New Orleans Square!

For Disneyland Resort’s Club 33, members will pay $35,000 upfront and then $15,000 every year after.

For Walt Disney World, the upfront cost is higher. Members will pay $35,000 to join, and the annual fee is $16,000.

But as interest, demand, and prices go up, you can expect to see the cost of membership and annual dues increase every few years as well.

And just because you might have that kinda cash to throw around, doesn’t mean you can just saunter up to a Cast Member at Guest Relations, toss down a stack of thousand-dollar bills and get it. A waiting list has ranged from 500 to 800 people over the years. And you have to be invited by Disney to join the club.

Club 33 Perks

The perks of club membership are a little different between Disneyland Club 33 membership and membership at Walt Disney World.

Disneyland members will receive:

  • Magic Key for the primary member, a spouse and any children under the age of 18
  • Access to Club 33 at Disneyland and 1901 at California Adventure (note: you cannot access any Club 33 location at Disney World!)
  • 50 single day park hopper tickets
  • 5 1-day VIP tours
  • Access to the Club 33 concierge
  • Access to other VIP events, private parties, and attraction previews

Walt Disney World Club 33 members will receive:

  • Annual Pass for the primary member, a spouse, and any children under the age of 18
  • Access to all four Club 33 locations at Walt Disney World (note: you cannot access Club 33 at Disneyland!)

Club 33 Locations

The club was initially started at Disneyland and remains there to this day. In 2018, Club 33 officially began in Walt Disney World with a Hollywood Studios location. It now exists in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom as well. The rumored price is higher than Disneyland’s, but the benefits are the same.

Each restaurant and lounge is elegantly themed and offers members an exclusive location to relax while in the middle of the park away from the everyday park-goer. And, before Disneyland and Disney California Adventure began selling alcohol at select restaurants in the parks, these lounges were actually the only place that you could order alcohol.

Joining Club 33 is not for the faint of heart. It takes tons of patience, potentially waiting on the waitlist for YEARS and then there is a large financial commitment, and that’s IF you can get past the Club 33 interview.
