When the Disney World parks are closed for the evening, but you’re craving a late-night snack, look no further than trusty old McDonald’s. Sure, you can order a burger and fries from D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs, but there are some days when we just want a simple McDonald’s meal.
Whether you’re visiting the McDonald’s on Disney property or craving a meal from your local fast-food location, you might want to hear this news about an upcoming new item at McDonald’s.
If you’ve been to pretty much any major shopping mall or gift shop, odds are that you’ve encountered Squishmallows somewhere in your travels.
For those that are unfamiliar, Squishmallows are those super-soft and squishy (as the name implies) stuffed animals that kids (and adults) these days LOVE to collect. They’re basically the 2023 version of Beanie Babies, but way squishier!
If you or someone you know has a small obsession with Squishmallows, we’ve got some exciting news! Jazwares, the company that produces Squishmallows, shared a press release announcing that Squishmallows will soon be the new toys in Happy Meals.
Ahead of their big debut, we learned that participating locations across the U.S. will offer 24 different collectible Squishmallows. As you may have noticed from that promotional photo, there’s a digital experience to go with the plush toys; 14 of the stuffed animals will come with a playlist that matches the personality of the plush, which can be accessed via QR code.
According to the press release, “each participating McDonald’s location will have 10-12 of the Squishmallows.” You might have to travel to a few different locations if you want to collect them all!

Haven’t made it to Oklahoma yet. Most of the toys are just something to look at. My kids aren’t even interested. Now we have Element toys, by the way, has anyone tried happymeal.com? It just tells a little story about your toy, I follow directions but don’t see anything lighting up.
I would love to…I’m in Canada, I do not think they will carry them ☹️.

My daughter Jade Brianna Maldonado was killed by a hit and run driver in September 2018 walking to school here in San Bernardino, CA. She loved Sqishmillows. Ever since then we’ve collected them. We have over 15 of them on my bed from mini to large ones for Christmas my friend gave me 4 of them❤️.
I love squishamallows. I am so excited to see they are coming out in happy meals. I can’t wait!!
