16 Hotel Essentials You’ll Regret Not Bringing to Disney World

Disney World hotels… Just like home, right?

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Well, they’re just like home for the most part. Usually, we’re pretty impressed with Disney World’s accommodations and are pretty darn comfortable while visiting. However, there are just a few things that we love to bring with us while visiting Disney World hotels that make the experience even cozier. Bringing along some favorite items in your suitcase is a great way to ensure that you’re relaxed and well-rested after long, hot days in the parks — and that you’re ready to take on yet another exciting day!

Ear Plugs and Sound Machines

Disney hotels can be LOUD. No matter where you stay, you can almost always hear people coming and going, closing doors, and walking above you. Here are some of our favorite products to mitigate those scenarios.

These Soft Ear Plugs are a great way to reduce noise while also being soft enough to keep in your ears while sleeping comfortably.

Similar to sound machines and ambient lights is a humidifier, which also helps with getting good sleep.

Blankets and Bedding

Hotel room bedding can be thin, scratchy, and not at all cozy. Plus, the extra blankets provided can be even scratchier, and sometimes have a weird smell. Here are some things we pack to make our beds extra cozy:

We always carry extra blankets! This Luxury Flannel Fleece Blanket seems super soft and comes in multiple colors and sizes.

The key is finding a blanket that isn’t too bulky to fit in your luggage, so this seems to be a great option.

  1. Most are items that I pack for Disney. I never have enough room for a blanket when flying, but I try to fit it in. I would add a suction hook to hang your loofa on the shower tile. Makes it really convenient.
