How to Ride TRON at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World

Let’s BOO this! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back for the 2023 fall season, and we’re ready for allll the food, the characters, and the nighttime entertainment!

Halloween!

This year, there’s one MAJOR addition to the Halloween party:  TRON Lightcycle / Run is open! If you’re planning to visit one of Magic Kingdom’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties this year, we’ve got some important information to share on the TRON Lightcycle / Run boarding process.

As you may know, many new Disney attractions use a virtual queue system where guests join a boarding group from their mobile device and wait for their group to be called. Then, when called, guests can enter the physical line at TRON Lightcycle / Run.

In June, Disney announced that the TRON virtual queue system would remain in place during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we got to see it in action for ourselves!

Note that as long as your Halloween party ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account, you should be able to join a virtual queue for the attraction during the party. If you need additional assistance, be sure to ask a Cast Member!

Guests with tickets to the party can join the virtual queue at 6PM, so be sure to set an alarm to secure a boarding group! Around 7:30PM, the virtual queue was closed (although it may have closed before that) and there is no standby line to ride.
