NEW Revamped Country Bear Jamboree Show to Debut This Summer in Disney World

Some BIG changes are happening in Magic Kingdom!

We’ve been watching the progress on the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride seeing it transform from Splash Mountain into something totally new. At Destination D23 last year, we learned about even more changes coming to the park including a revamped Country Bear Jamboree — and now we have an update!

This summer, the new and improved Country Bear Jamboree is set to debut in Magic Kingdom. There is no exact reopening date yet, however, we know that the attraction will close on January 27th, 2024.

The bears will get brand new outfits to go along with their new act inspired by the Opry style shows of Nashville. The music will have a Nashville sound and artists from the city are working on the songs coming to the show.

Country Bear Jamboree will include Easter Eggs from the beginning to the end with familiar tunes from the original show. However, the bears will also sing new, reinterpreted Disney songs in different genres of country music including bluegrass, Americana, pop-country, rockabilly, and more.

Frontierland will be a bit of a construction zone this year with the refurbishments happening at Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The latter is set to open in 2024, but no exact timeline or date has been set just yet.
