EVERYTHING That’s Open During After Hours Events at Magic Kingdom

We attended the first Magic Kingdom After Hours event of 2024 and we’re still reminiscing about it!

There are so many perks to these events including LOW wait times, an EMPTY park, FREE snacks, and more! We’re taking a full look at everything that’s included during a Magic Kingdom After Hours event. Let’s go!

Magic Kingdom After Hours

The event is three hours long and runs from 10PM to 1AM. You can get a head start by entering the park at 7PM, but the event doesn’t officially start until 10, so you might still see some lingering crowds from 7-10PM.

Magic Kingdom’s After Hours events take place on select nights from January 11th to June 27th, 2024. This is a limited-capacity event that MAY sell out, so make sure to check the calendar before your trip!

Ticket prices vary by date, ranging from $155 to $175 (not including tax). Disney Vacation Club Members and Disney World Annual Passholders can get a discount on tickets.

Look out for low wait times throughout the event — you may even be able to walk right onto some rides!

What CROWDS Look Like at the FIRST 2024 After Hours Event in Magic Kingdom

Fireworks

Here’s an exciting perk: guests can enjoy an After Hours exclusive firework show called Enchantment! You may remember this show from Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

Keep in mind that if you arrive early before After Hours officially starts, you can see two fireworks shows: Happily Ever After, AND Enchantment!

Food

You can get complimentary snacks, like ice cream, popcorn, and select bottled beverages at snack carts all around the park! You know what that means — we’re stocking up on Mickey bars!

You can also dine at Main Street Bakery and Casey’s Corner during the event. Both will remain open throughout the night.

Characters

Make sure to stop by and meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater during the event!

You can also see the Disney Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall.
