Okay, so who’s excited about Disney World’s NEW Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Fort Wilderness?
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness officially open on July 1st, and Disney has shown us a lot of concept art, as well as a sneak peek at some of the details we can see in the cabins. But now, we finally have a FULL first look at the inside of one of the Cabins!
Disney is remodeling the older Fort Wilderness cabins and turning them into more modern DVC cabins. Disney explained that the new cabins are “inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting, while also paying homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage through the magic of Disney storytelling.” Here’s a preview of the NEW design.
For reference, this is what the old cabins looked like. They definitely have a more traditional “log cabin” look to them, right?
Each newly updated cabin will sleep up to six adults. The cabins will have a full kitchen and living room. See that sofa? That pulls out into a Murphy bed.
The bedroom features a lot of fun details like Chip ‘n’ Dale on the walls, plus a fun postcard collage that features a nod to River Country.
Each cabin also has a private patio. Some of the cabins will also even be dog-friendly. If you’d like to take a virtual look at the cabins yourself, here’s a full, interactive, 360-degree look at them! You can “walk” through the ENTIRE cabin! Keep your eyes peeled for Disney easter eggs and other fun details!
