A LOT of things are happening at Disneyland.
Not only is the DisneylandForward Initiative potentially moving forward, which would expand the parks, but Downtown Disney is getting several new restaurants, including a much-anticipated new location for Din Tai Fung. Well, we now know when Din Tai Fung will open!
Disney has revealed that Din Tai Fung will open in Downtown Disney in summer 2024. Previously, we only knew that the location would open in 2024, so now we know it’s opening sooner, rather than later. After all, summer is not that far away.
Din Tai Fung is a family-run Chinese restaurant that serves up family-style traditional dishes like its signature soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), wontons, noodles, steamed buns, bok choy, pork chop fried rice, and more. Disney has not yet revealed a full menu, but those are some of the items that will be found on the menu.
Disney also previously released concept art of the new Din Tai Fung location.
The inside will feature a round bar in the center of the restaurant with an interior done up in rose and gold colors.
