NEWS: April 30th is a BIG Day for Disneyland Fans!

If you’ve been to Disneyland, you may be aware of the special guided tours you can book to see the parks from a more unique perspective.

Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland

You can take “A Walk in Walt’s Footsteps,” which is one of the non-paid ways to get a peek at the Club 33 lobby. You can even book a VIP tour customized to your own interests. And soon two tours will be returning to the parks, and we now know when reservations will be open!

One of the tours returning is the “Cultivating the Magic” tour, which is a guided tour all about the horticulture (aka the plants and flowers) at Disneyland. You’ll learn how Disney’s horticulturists tell a story with plants and flower throughout the park. You’ll learn about the flowers and plants at Disneyland’s main entrance, make your way through Town Square and The Hub, and into Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland. The tour also includes a ride on the Jungle Cruise and a special memento for you to keep.

The other tour that’s returning is the “Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour.” You’ll start the tour with a beverage and pastry and then you’ll be guided through the park learning about Walt Disney’s train creations. You’ll even get the rare opportunity to visit the Disneyland Park Roundhouse and ride the Disneyland Railroad in the Presidential Car, the Lilly Belle.  You’ll also get a keepsake to take home with this tour.

Disneyland Train in New Orleans Square

Both of these tours will begin taking reservations as of April 30th. You’ll be able to book through the Disneyland website or Disneyland app. Note that you’ll need a valid park ticket and park pass reservation on the day of the tour.
