One of Disney World’s parks is about to celebrate a NEW milestone soon and they’re inviting you to join the celebration!
Disney World has had some banger anniversaries recently celebrating Disney World’s 50th anniversary AND 100 Years of Disney of Wonder. So clearly they’re big fans of any time we can celebrate a major anniversary. If you’ve felt like things have been a little too quiet on the celebration front since those concluded, you’re in luck because Disney World has another reason to celebrate and it’s coming up soon!
Perhaps you remember some of the older days of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (maybe even under its previous name of MGM Studios) or just enjoy a great reason to celebrate and feel a little nostalgic. If this speaks to you in either case, you’ll get your opportunity soon!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is gearing up to celebrate its next milestone birthday turning 35 years old! Disney World will be “celebrating 35 years of magic and adventure” on May 1st, 2024. A special moment to reflect and congratulate the park on its anniversary year will be held at Theater of the Stars starting at 11AM.
And if you’re really looking for a way to keep the party going, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also debut some anniversary year merch to commemorate the celebration. You’ll be able to grab the collection in Stage 1 at Grand Avenue near PizzeRizzo, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, and MuppetVision 3D.
It’s a huge accomplishment to be able to celebrate such an important milestone for Disney World and for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we look forward to seeing their celebration!

I had booked a trip during this time, not knowing about the 35th. Haven’t decided if going or skipping yet. Would love to be a part of it, but unsure of the madness that it will create in the park that day! My dates are part of AP ‘Good to go days’, new AP lounge in Epcot and the 35th of HWS…wondering if I should have changed my travel dates😅
