There’s Something NEW on the Disney World App!

We just noticed an exciting change on the My Disney Experience app! The My Disney Experience app has loads of valuable information for your Disney World trip, including maps, wait times, photos, Mobile Ordering, and more.

And now that we finally know when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in Magic Kingdom, it looks like the My Disney Experience app has been updated to reflect that.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening on June 28th, 2024, and will take riders on an adventure through the Louisiana bayou with Tiana and friends as they prepare for their first Mardi Gras celebration. We have gotten sneak peeks at some of the animatronics and critters that will be debuting on the new attraction. And now, the My Disney Experience app has an exciting change!

Ahead of the grand opening, the area with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has officially been updated on the map and even shows the opening date. The detail on the map is great and they even included Tiana’s Foods Water Tower and a log vehicle.

While the ride doesn’t officially open until June 28th, select groups have the opportunity to preview this attraction early. Annual Passholders, Cast Members, DVC members, and D23 Gold Members will all have limited opportunities to be one of the first to ride this new attraction.

The ride will be opening with a virtual queue and the ability to book a lightning lane through the Genie+ service. This update in the My Disney Experience App just mean we are one step closer to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
