Wouldn’t waste my time going there again
Pros:
Atmosphere delightfulCons:
Soup was served lukewarm, croutons for soup never arrived, lunch entree was also cold, when serving dessert the waitress left lunch dishes on the table and when coffee finally arrive( since the table was for 7 people) she left utensils at the far corner of the table.Reviewed by rsfan Review Date: 10/31/2023

After many years of coming to WDW, we finally made it to the Brown Derby for a quiet dinner for 2. The theming and decorations are fabulous. It seems both busy and intimate at the same time.I went with the regular Cobb salad while my wife had the vegan shepherds pie. I was very pleased with the salad and there was plenty to fill me up. My wife found the pie to be "interesting" in a mostly good way. I think she would have preferred the original with lamb. We were given a slice of grapefruit cake gratis for having won a trivia contest and it was very good. The service was up to par. Cost was reasonable by Disney standards. We will definately return.
Pros:
Setting, food, serviceCons:
Somewhat restricted number of choices on the menu.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/18/2023

My husband and I love to eat outside in the lounge/bar area. Great people watching, parades and characters. The staff is always overly accommodating. I almost always order the cobb salad and a margarita flight. Both are very refreshing, IMO. My husband tries seasonal items on the menu. Rarely do we order dessert, but if they offer a special dessert, we have not been disappointed.

The food here is always top notch. I like that the menu changes abut every 3-4 months!Nice break from the crowds to cool off.
Pros:
Food, air conditioning and atmosphereCons:
Sometimes the waitstaff can be not as attentive as they should be depending on who is in your party. I have been there with adults and they are pretty good but when I was with children not so much.Reviewed by Willbegone Review Date: 06/20/2023

We dined at the Brown Derby on Friday, June 9 at 5PM. We started, by the suggestion of our waitress, with the escargot. Hands down the best we have had at Disney and 2nd best ever. Our oldest 2 kids (22 & 16) were sopping up every last bit of the sauce with the bread. For entrees we had the filet mignon (7 out of 10), grilled pork (9 out of 10) and lamb shank (9 out of 10). We finished with the grapefruit cake (10 out of 10) and bruleed champagne sabayon (8 out of 10). Our youngest (5) had mac & cheese, typical WDW mac but she loves it. Our waitress was AMAZING. Her personality, attentiveness and efficiency were unparalleled. She was 15 out of 10 and we tipped her well. We have dined at several WDW signature restaurants and this would be in our top 5.
Pros:
SERVICE and escargotCons:

My family of 6 ate here in October 2021. Our experience was fantastic - we all enjoyed the food and the service was very good. I ordered the salmon, which was excellent, and my wife ordered the burger and said it was the best she's ever had. It appears the menu has changed since we were there, so your experience may be different from ours, but we really enjoyed it. We also got some fun non-alcoholic drinks with glow cubes, which the kids liked, and ordered the famous grapefruit cake, which I loved, although others said it was just OK (if you're not a grapefruit lover, it may not be for you). The overall meal wasn't cheap, nor was it quick, but that's to be expected at this type of restaurant. However, it was less than half the price we spent at Be Our Guest and the food was better!
Pros:
Excellent food, good service, nice themingCons:

It had been awhile since I ate here so it was one of the first reservations I made for this vacation. My lunch was delicious! Margarita, Cobb salad and creme brûlée were all so good. I've already decided I'm coming back for lunch during my Flower & Garden festival visit in 2023.
Pros:
the Cobb salad cannot be beat!Cons:
pricey but so good!Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 09/17/2022

Terrible service. Relegated to a small back room with no theming. Orders had items missing Cobb salad is gross and that’s their signature. Snarky hostess that actually thinks she’s working in Hollywood. Our only bad experience of a week long trip.
