The BEST Food In EPCOT for 2024

There is so much to eat and drink in EPCOT, it can be hard to decide where to spend your money and what to put in your belly!

And it gets even harder during an EPCOT Festival (and it seems like there’s one going on almost every time of the year these days).

So, how do you know what to eat in EPCOT? That’s what you’ve got US for! We’re going to go through all of the dining options to tell you the best of each category so you can know what to prioritize the next time you’re in EPCOT. Now, it goes without saying that every palate is different, and we’ll try to include sweet and savory options as often as possible. If your palate is a bit more sophisticated and you also want some spicy, sour, and salty, well, keep an eye out for those items as well, or bring your own hot sauce (not in a glass container, though, Disney won’t allow those in the parks), but if you have a stash of extra Taco Bell Hot Sauce packets in a drawer somewhere, you can put them to good use (you know we’re kidding, right? unless you’re one of those folks who puts hot sauce on everything…).

Snacks

Let’s start with the widest range but the smallest bites. You can easily make a meal out of snacking around EPCOT. And sometimes, especially during a Festival, that’s what we’d recommend. So, let’s look at those top EPCOT snacks (in no particular order).

Liege Waffle (Connections Eatery & Cafe)

Liege waffles are a style of Belgium waffle made with yeast dough and pearl sugar. This style of waffle results in a chewy and puffy yeasted waffle with caramelized bits of sugar on the surface.

You can watch them being made in the open kitchen at the Connections Cafe and find themed seasonal waffles released throughout the year. These are Instagram pretty, travel-friendly (so you can toss them in your bag to eat later), and a super tasty snack option.

Pain au Chocolat (Le Halles Boulangerie Patissiere)

A light, buttery croissant with soft, melty chocolate layered throughout the pastry.

It’s decadent without being too sweet and wonderful for breakfast, or whenever you have a hankering for some chocolate.

Caramel Butter Bar (Karamell Kuche)

This is a buttery, caramel layered shortbread bar.

The shortbread can sometimes be a little too buttery, but it has a nice balance with the sweetness of the caramel. Great to share, but so good, you won’t want to.

School Bread (Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe)

A sweet bread roll has mild cardamom spices and is injected with vanilla custard. It is topped with a sweet icing and toasted coconut.

The School Bread recipe comes from a classic Norwegian snack (properly titled “Skolebrød”), which kids took to school in their packed lunches or parents sold at bake sales, back in the day.

Maple Popcorn (Canada Popcorn Cart)

Similar to caramel popcorn, but a little more unique and earthy. You’ll be able to smell that squeeze nasal siren call long before you see it.

A little salty, a little sweet, and perfect for all snack lovers — this treat is also vegan.

Festival Booths

Don’t pass on exploring the festival booths for additional snack options (not that we have to tell you and not that you’d miss them).

It feels like there’s hardly a week in the year that EPCOT isn’t celebrating some cultural event, so make sure you grab a passport when you enter the park to scope out which booths you need to visit. Or peruse our Festival coverage for our Best of the Fest recommendations!

QUICK SERVICE

Les Halles Boulangerie Patissiere

There’s really no way you can go wrong at Les Halles. From Quiche to Croque Monsieur, shoot, you can even just buy a whole baguette and have bread for lunch.

Cuz if folks are gonna walk around a park gnawing on a Turkey Leg,  you’re more than entitled to the same privilege with a loaf of delicious, fresh, French bread! And if you walk while you eat, the calories cancel each other out, right?

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Simple, straightforward, but delicious. The Yorkshire County Fish Shop  serves fish and chips.

Grab your basket with 2-3 white fish fillets fried with a light, crisp coating on a bed of thick-cut salty chips (steak fries to us Americans). Grab your choice of tarter sauce, ketchup, or malt vinegar and a table overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon, and enjoy your British lunch!

Crepes A Emporter

The new kid on the French block is the Creperie.

If you’re craving something sweet, you can get a Crepe, with berries, or chocolate, or ice cream. If you’re craving something savory, you can order a Galette with Brie cheese, or ham, or vegetables on a buckwheat wrap.

La Cantina del San Angel

You’re starting in Mexico, and you think you wanna start with a margarita, but then the smell of grilled meat in the air lures you in.

If you like Mexican food, then this is your spot — a covered patio overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon, with tacos, empanadas, nachos, and…so…much…cheese.

Regal Eagle

Why would you eat something American in the midst of all of these international culinary delicacies?

Well, when you’re craving barbecue, you don’t always get to pick where you are, and if you’re on the backside of World Showcase, Regal Eagle can help you out. And even if you’re not craving barbecue, it’s never a bad time to be a patron of a spot that pays homage to the genius of the Muppets. Passing by Regal Eagle without going in is simply not patriotic.

TABLE SERVICE

Biergarten

German food may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of international cuisine. You might think of pizza, pasta, or potstickers. But don’t count Germany out — this is the home of comfort food at its finest.

Do you like food that’s fried or cheesy? Do you like a wide range of side dishes that center around potatoes? Do you enjoy gravy, sausage, and so many varieties of meats? Welcome to Biergarten — where, yes, they have beer, too! Prost!

Via Napoli

Well, we don’t want to offend pizza, or pasta, or potstickers, so next on our Table Service list is one of the most popular joints in Disney World: Via Napoli.

This cozy spot has garnered its much-deserved reputation for its excellent Naples-style pizza with large slices, thin crust, and unique and zesty toppings. But you can always grab lasagna or spaghetti and other Italian classics here, too.

Garden Grill

This Character Dining option is a fan favorite!

But beyond the characters — you’ll meet Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto here — Garden Grill serves up seriously good family-style, homestyle cookin’.

Le Cellier

Le Cellier is a Signature restaurant, so think of it like Table Service Plus.

And that Plus will hit you when the check comes to the table. But you’re on vacation, so why stress it? Just order the filet with the mushroom risotto (trust us on this one) and make sure to ask your server for extra pretzel rolls (trust us on that one, too).

Takumi-Tei

If Le Cellier is “Table Service Plus” then Takumi-Tei is “Table Service Plus-Squared.”

Oh yeah, this place may cost you another mortgage, your firstborn, and potentially a not-so-vital organ. But it’s worth it. This is not a meal, it’s an EXPERIENCE. In fact, eating here can take more than three hours, so clear out your day, because this place will take you on a culinary tour of Japan, and you won’t regret one bite.
