Over on Twitter, bioreconstruct has been sharing some updates on the construction of Universal Orlando’s new theme park. Let’s take a look at how it’s coming along!

Epic Universe will be an all-new theme park at Universal that will include four new lands, new rides, a new hotel, new restaurants, and more! The new park is set to open in 2025, but we’re seeing a lot of progress being made already. Back in October, we shared with you a few photos of a building getting lots of colorful tiles.

This is going to be very colorful!

According to bioreconstruct, this building will be part of the Stella Nova and Terra Luna resorts south of Epic Universe. The tile work has seen some improvement since we last took a look at it!

Bioreonstruct shared an aerial overview of the whole park’s construction on November 23rd that included a ride in How to Train Your Dragon Land, Curse of the Werewolf roller coaster, a boat ride route adding to How to Train Your Dragon Land, and much more.

We also got to see the construction in one of the lands, Dark Universe, on a manor-styled attraction. You can see the manor is coming along well!

A side view of the manor will show another building that could be an extended queue building for the attraction.

You can also see sections of the construction in How to Train Your Dragon land including the dual-racing roller coaster, as well as water features, and Super Nintendo World.

Also, at the entrance to Dark Universe, it looks like there will be a portal to the land that is located near a restaurant that appears to be at the base of an in-park resort tower.

And you can start seeing the shapes and colors that will eventually become Super Nintendo World!

There is a whole lot of construction happening as Universal anticipates the opening of this new park in a little over a year! There has even been some ride testing noted throughout the park, including dummy testing.

Epic Universe will be located south of the other three Universal theme parks approximately two miles away.

  1. Very excited about all the new stuff, but not everyone likes roller coasters. Some great water rides, and epic regular low impact rides would be great!
