An Iconic Universal Orlando Ride Is Temporarily CLOSING Tomorrow

One closure, two closure, red closure, blue closure. That’s what it feels like when you look at the Universal Orlando refurbishment calendar lately!

Islands of Adventure

We’ve updated you on the two stores that are closing at CityWalk to make way for new experiences (R.I.P. Cinnabon). There are also a few rides that have scheduled refurbishments at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! Now, one of those closures is coming up and we need you to know about it.

If you’re heading to Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure in the near future, things are going to look a little different! The iconic One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish ride is going down for refurbishment on April 27th, 2024.

The ride is currently scheduled to reopen after May 24th, 2024, but that could change as the refurbishment goes on. It’s pretty common for rides to have scheduled maintenance time so although this will be closed for about a month, there shouldn’t be any major changes.

If you’ll be in the parks during this time, be sure to check out everything else Seuss Landing has to offer! The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride is a great family-friendly ride and although The Cat in the Hat gives some of us nightmares, it’s another that may be good for little ones.

Or if you find yourself hungry in this land, we highly recommend heading to Green Eggs and Ham Cafe! They have some delicious meals on the menu and we find ourselves stopping here often for a snack in the parks.
