This is so so much fun! It is good for all ages and of course littler kids will love it. This is where you can see characters from haunted mansion when you exit the ride. They also did a great job at making sure there were candy stations that were nut free for those with allergies.

Pros:

Low wait times, Character sightings, and candy!

Cons:

Lots of walking after being in the Florida sun all day

Paying considerably more for considerably less is not a promising trend. After attending MNSSHP for years we were excited to give the new version a shot - and unfortunately this was the first time in any Disney trip that I have ever felt that the Mouse was only out to get my money (I understand that they ARE out to get my money, but this is the first time that I felt it while IN the parks)The event was good, but not great and certainly not remotely up to the standards of the old Halloween party. The Bash definitely suffers from the loss of the full parade and the Villain Spelltacular due to the pandemic, so perhaps a return of those or similar shows would increase my opinion, but if the same format is offered again next year I will not be returning.

Pros:

Some snacks and sodas included with admission.

Cons:

Shorter time in the parks than the MNSSHP by roughly 2 hours. Cost. More crowded than expected.

Soooo worth it on hot days! We went in late September on a Sunday night - 3 adults. We all agreed it was totally worth it. Focus on the rides, attractions, and hitting the treat lines and you will end up with a jam packed totally worth it evening in a fun atmosphere.

Pros:

Focused time to just ride rides and see attractions without stopping for meals and snacks all the time like you would during the day. MUCH lower crowds than during the day. On hot September days it was SOO much cooler in the evening that it made being at the park so much more enjoyable. If you do get snackish -- free snacks! popcorn, ice cream bars, sodas, water, etc.

Cons:

Limited rides and attractions, but we still didn't get to ride everything we could have. Don't waste time stopping for special performances, it isn't worth it. No restaurants are open, but we actually saw that as a positive.
